Name: Hot Melt Adhesive Packaging Film
Brand: GBAO

Question 1

How do I choose the right grade for my line?

Accepted Answer

Three variables decide it: the filling / sealing temperature your equipment can hold, the melting window of the adhesive you coat, and whether you need hand-tear or transparency. Send us your equipment limits and application and we will supply samples of the two or three most likely grades together with their parameter sheets.

Question 2

Frosted / embossed or transparent — what is the practical difference?

Accepted Answer

Frosted and embossed surfaces are the default for sealing applications: they hide minor surface marks, disperse light and improve the melt appearance. Transparent grades are chosen when the substrate shows through the sealed area and a clean look matters, such as clear packaging and window films.

Question 3

Can grammage and texture be customized?

Accepted Answer

Within the published range we can tune grammage between 20 and 60 g/m² and select frosted / embossed or transparent surface. Custom development outside this window is possible — please contact us with your target specification for a feasibility check.

Question 4

Do I need to test before switching to your film?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sealing window, adhesive compatibility and final seal strength all depend on the specific machine, tooling and adhesive involved. We always recommend a test on your own parts before mass production — actual process parameters on your line shall prevail.

Question 5

What is the coating material version for?

Accepted Answer

It is supplied as pellets with a softening point of 100 ±3 °C, intended to be melted and coated directly by the customer into their own hot melt adhesive formulation — an alternative to buying finished film.
